It is GREAT because you can plug in the grades each semester, and it calculates FOR YOU!! 
It will keep the GPA current.




Driver's Ed Information

As of Nov. 1, 2005, Oklahoma has extended the length of time students are required to have their permit. 

15 1/2 yrs - student can take permit (written) test BUT must be enrolled in a Driver's Education Course--either parent-taught or commercial driving school.

Required to have permit for 6 months.

16 yrs (or after 6 mos.) student can take driver's test at a testing facility.  This gives student the intermediate license.

Must have intermediate license for 6 months-IF student has certificate of driver's education course.  Otherwise, the intermediate license is in effect until age 18.

Merkley's School -  348-6686  $295 - 10 hours of classroom time/ 6 hours one-on-one behind the wheel with the added of benefit that they will come to your house and pick up your child for their driving time.  Most students will save their last 2 hours of driving time until they are ready to take the driver's test.  Merkley's will pick them up, drive for two hours, take student to the testing station for their driver's test--No waiting in line!

Merkley's will also allow you to take the 8th grade reading proficiency test.  Call them for more information.

OSU at OKC also has a defensive driver's couse.

The Oklahoma State Department of Education provides information for Oklahoma students.
